Following on from the luncheon with Steve Baker MP in January, Global Britain held the second of its 2017 programme of private lunches on Wednesday 1st February with economist Dr Gerard Lyons addressing a full house at 55 Tufton Street, Westminster. Dr Lyons, who was an inspirational voice of sanity during the Brexit debate and helped to found Economists for Brexit, gave an encouraging and upbeat prognosis for the negotiation process but warned against complacency.

The next lunchtime guest will be Conservative Finance spokesman in the Scottish Parliament, Murdo Fraser MSP, who will talk about the Brexit from a Scottish perspective.

As these lunches are held under the Chatham House rule full details are not reported.
